Remember the mirror is just a very dry pool.

Remember while theory teaches us about the mirror in many and varied clever interventions, like say the mirror stage, or the discovery of mirror neurons, remember to remember that these things, ugh.

These things described or modelled, or mapped, or mirrored as mirrors, these things logically clank away on logical diversions some may find endearing if implicating, if not damning. These things that entropy allow us to ignore. A moment, a self, a world. These things this one point-of-view pulls up against, these infinitely other possibilities and these their potential infinitudes, we pull up against, we pull together, for the one we want or prefer or hunger for, these they… —these that hint at a sensibility of a structure fearless, tearless and overwrought, these structures are not things but strident shouts of abuse : mirror stage, mirror mirror, who is the fairest one of all?

Remember that one? Mirror me a mythology. Legend me an open grave.

Remember the mirror is just a very dry pool.

That’s what the taphonomy of evolution teaches us, a pool is not an accidental mirror, the mirror is a deliberate pool, dried of its life, in order to mirror life around.

That is why the structure is dead. The tool is not your hand.
