to be moral does not require morality
To be a moral person requires empathy.
It does not require a morality.
Narcissists use moral principles to game their local system all the time.
Why does being moral not require morality?
Becasue reality does not care about reality.
It has no bones to pick.
It does not care what we do with reality, or don’t.
Caring about reality is what we world (is what we do.)
Reality does not care that we care.
Reality takes no notice when we try to turn the world into reality.
Reality carries on regardless, while we learn from our mistakes trying on what we do do, what we do world, and so forth.
Perhaps (and this is trying it on) reality shrinks as we world for good or ill, but in any case reality does not mind. No mind at all.
“Don’t mind me”, says reality.
Thus things like panpsychism is a worlding projection, a worldly projection, which might be true of the selfings in our worldings, but not in reality.
Even saying reality doesn’t care or mind, is to write worldingly of reality. It’s what we we do in order to do something, as in when we say something should be done.
We should fix morality.
That is, to act morally requires empathy in order the world the self, and self the world. That is what I mean by carrying on regardless (of reality).
