contronym… —when the source is the sink it is all about the flow

This floated past me on social media in November 2023.

The opposite meanings these verbs define are/is united in the movement that gives the difference birth.

I am fascinated by them as they can thus uncover the tension between ….movement — that we animals assume, as we step out of the flow into our bodies, embodied or worlded,… and — that which we would as animals discern, define, intend, mean, categorise; order.

But all is flux, and we are left with movement, minus notice and intention, a spirit that whispers ashamedly, that we are not the flow to which we will return.
